Mike Bloomberg in 2011: ‘Enormous Cohort’ of Young Black and Latino Men ‘Don’t Know How to Behave in the Workplace’

By Vice, February 17, 2020:

While promoting a multi-million dollar initiative to “reduce disparities” as the mayor of New York City in 2011, Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg said “enormous cohorts” of young black and Latino men “don’t know how to behave in the workplace where they have to work collaboratively and collectively.”

Bloomberg made the remarks during an interview with PBS Newshour, as he promoted his Young Men’s Initiative, a $127 million, three-year program funded in part by Bloomberg’s charitable organization, financier George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, and the city of New York. “Blacks and Latinos score terribly in school testing compared to whites and Asians. If you look at our jails, it’s predominantly minorities,” Bloomberg said.

“If you look at where crime takes place, it’s in minority neighborhoods. If you look at who the victims and the perpetrators are, it’s virtually all minorities,” Bloomberg continued. “This is something that has gone on for a long time, I assume it’s prevalent elsewhere but it’s certainly true in New York City.”

Bloomberg touted his administration’s work to reduce the crime rate, which he credited in this interview to diversifying the police force, saying that it was “particularly important to black and Latino kids and their families and neighborhoods, because that’s where the crime is.”

Bloomberg also said his administration had worked to “attract industries that can use the people here who are unemployed” and increase job opportunities for marginalized people overall.

“But nevertheless, there’s this enormous cohort of black and Latino males, age, let’s say, 16 to 25,” Bloomberg continued, “that don’t have jobs, don’t have any prospects, don’t know how to find jobs, don’t know what their skillsets are, don’t know how to behave in the workplace where they have to work collaboratively and collectively.”

The Bloomberg campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I am using my blog to promote a Congressional candidate by the name of Laura Loomer. I’m 58 years old and about as cynical as they come when it comes to politicians on both sides of the aisle. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a capitalist, so I could never support any Democrat currently, but I also can’t say that the majority of Republicans enthuse me. I would vote for them because the alternative is too awful, but for the first time in my life I’m getting involved and promoting someone who lives 2000 miles away from me, and I can’t even vote for. The reason is I believe she is a game changer. President Trump is a game changer. She’s a young female Trumpist, and she’s got the ability to go into Congress and do what the Republicans won’t do. Many don’t want to rock their corporate sponsors. Others don’t want the racist label. But Laura Loomer doesn’t want support from big multi-nationals, and she’s been called a racist for two years, so there’s nothing new they can throw at her. They’ve already banned her from social media, closed her PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe accounts, banned her from Uber, Ubereast, Lyft, and temporarily closed her bank account down at Chase. She’s fighting back and is laser focused on reversing the trend to make communism and jihadism acceptable in this country, BUT SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP. Small donations add up, just ask Bernie Sanders. She’s running against a well funded Pelosi crony with large sums of PAC money, but she’s polling ahead of her, so SHE CAN WIN WITH YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT. She’s running in President Trump’s home district and has big names endorsing her such as Judge Jeanine, the Limbaugh team, Michelle Malkin, Roger Stone, Brandon Straka, Terrance Williams, Lationo Exit -LEXIT, and many, many more because of her willingness to take these elements. Jewish journalist, Laura Loomer, made her name investigating corrupt politicians such as the Clintons, James Comey, Mad Max, and many others. She was the first reporter to investigate Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib before they were elected. She was deplatformed from Twitter for a post she made stating that Ilhan Omar was anti- Jew and pro Sharia. CAIR (Hamas) lobbied Twitter to remove her. Because a group of Saudi investors own a large chunk of Twitter stock, Loomer was booted from the platform. Facebook and Instagram did the same several months later. Loomer attempted to fight back, but the MSM and RINO’s were to PC to help her out. Michelle Malkin remained in support of her and called out the MSM. Loomer realized if she was going to effect change in this country, she would have to run for Congress to take the swamp head on. She announced a run for Congress last August in President Trump’s home district.

Loomer has filed lawsuits against Big Tech for bias against conservatives, monopolistic behavior through anti-trust, and election interference as they refuse to let her back on social media even as a candidate. Some might say, ‘This doesn’t affect me,’ but I’d say you’re wrong. Another post of mine is about a long term police officer in Florida who got suspended for ‘liking’ a post of his wife’s on Facebook that criticized Omar and Tlaib. Loomer has been suspended from more than just social media for being outspoked. She’s banned from Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe, medium and several others. She also had her bank account at Chase Banks temporarily closed down.

On 12/28/19, President Trump retweeted a tweet of mine in support of her. This week he’s renting her emails out for fundraising. We’re hopeful that a full fledged endorsement is coming soon as he’s been taking incremental steps. Judge Jeanine, Michelle Malkin, Brandon Straka, Roger Stone, and the Limbaugh teams have endorsed her because of her relentless pursuit of the truth. If you want to help her, please donate anything you can afford. Small amounts are welcome and add up. Some videos below if you’re not familiar with Laura Loomer.
