“Hate-filled anti-Semitic” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is being sued for $2 million after the freshman congresswoman attacked investigative reporter Laura Loomer during a campaign event in 2018.

The conservative non-profit Freedom Watch and its general counsel Larry Klayman, a former federal prosecutor, filed the complaint on behalf of Loomer on Friday, charging Tlaib with assault and battery and religious discrimination.

Tlaib, who adamantly supports boycotting Israel and has been repeatedly slammed by President Donald Trump for “hating Jews,” is seen assaulting Loomer, a female Jewish journalist, during a rally during her Congressional run.

Freedom watch detailed the alleged assault in a press release announcing the lawsuit.

“Ms. Loomer, who herself is now running for US Congress in Florida’s 21st Congressional District did not bring this complaint for political purposes, but to hold Tlaib accountable for her unhinged hatred of Jews and Israel, which manifested itself in Tlaib’s physical attack on Loomer, which was caught on camera,” Freedom Watch writes. During the campaign event which Tlaib attended in support of Omar’s candidacy in 2018, Loomer asked simple and straightforward questions of the future Congresswoman about her stances toward Israel, Jews and terrorist groups such as Hamas.

“In response, and in the presence of Omar, who looked on approvingly, Tlaib violently lunged at Loomer, interacted with her physically and grabbed her phone, which Loomer was using to film the event which took place at a Palestinian restaurant. This put Loomer in alleged fear of immediate severe bodily injury.”

Following the alleged assault, Loomer filed a criminal complaint against Tlaib with the Minneapolis Police Department, but the department has yet to follow up on the case.

“Likely because the police do not want to be smeared as ‘Islamophobic’ by Tlaib and Omar, especially given that Minnesota’s powerful Attorney General, Keith Ellison, who is a Muslim political ally of Tlaib and Omar, is also an anti-Semite and close to Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam,” Freedom Watch asserts.

If you want to help Laura Loomer continue her journalism endeavors, please buy, “The Switch.” Just released.

Her profits from the book supports her as an independent journalist free to expose corrupt politicians, jihadists, The Deep State, and corrupt Big Tech companies. Laura Loomer is featured in the new release, The Switch. It’s ripped from the headlines as she battles a Mexican narco cartel/jihadist alliance in this action packed thriller. Order today. Loomer is waging the legal battle to assure that “this hate-filled anti-Semitic Congresswoman can be held to account to the rule of American law, rather than the Sharia law she and her sister radical Muslim Congresswoman Omar pledge their primary allegiance to,” the press release concludes.

The lawsuit against Tlaib comes just days after Tlaib and Omar, who were among 17 members of Congress who voted against a resolution condemning the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, were blocked from entering Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained the decision to bar them from entry at length on his office’s official Twitter account. Tlaib and Omar’s itinerary “revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy,” Netanyahu noted.

Tlaib had previously rejected invitations to travel with other congressional members of both parties. Trips were organized by AIPAC to give new members briefings on security issues and include political perspectives from the government as well as critics.

Freedom Watch and Loomer are also waging a major legal battle against Big Tech.

A District of Columbia Court of Appeals agreed on Wednesday to hear the merits of a lawsuit Loomer filed accusing Apple, Facebook, Google and Twitter of colluding to “intentionally and willfully suppress politically conservative content.”

In March, a DC federal judge dismissed the lawsuit, claiming the plaintiffs did not present justifiable and viable legal claims about the social media companies’ alleged ideologically motivated bias and conspiracy against them.

The DC Court of Appeals, however denied the motion and will hear the merits of the suit.

The complaint alleges the tech giants are in violation of the Sherman Act, District of Columbia’s public accommodation law, the First Amendment, and claims the tech giants’ ban against Loomer has caused her “to suffer severe financial injury.”

It’s about time people are held accountable for their actions-NOT just conservatives! How can all of us get onboard with the legal action against Facebook…how about Twitter? Personally I am so sick of being silenced or restricted to speak freely! Good luck Ms Loomer!

I don’t usually donate to out-of-state Congressional or Senate candidates. But I’m happy to make an exception for Laura, especially considering the flood of contributions from outside the state and outside the US that flow to Democrat leftists. If conservatives want a Republican, non-RINO majority, we have to do more than talk.

    1. Thanks. She’s going to be the #1 voice for all freedom loving Americans once elected because she’s not going to bow down to PC culture.
